In
a joint partnership with North American Yachts and Shipbuilding, Genesis
Yachts delivered in July 2002 the extraordinary "Genesis
153" motoryacht in Viareggio, Italy.
This 153' (47m) yacht is the first of its kind in our series, and
features a 30' beam with interior and exterior styling by Luiz de Basto
and naval architecture by Sergio Cutolo. She is powered by twin Cat 3512's,
and can achieve top speeds of up to 20 knots, with a cruising speed of 14
knots.
The Genesis 153 offers a spectacular 2000 sq ft. private owners suite on
the fly bridge deck with surround windows for immense ocean views and private
jacuzzis. There are two double guest cabins and two twin guest cabins below
decks, plus an expansive deck for entertaining guests.
Included are spacious passageways for handicapped usage and an elevator
for floor-to-floor access at the transom to carry guests to the main deck.
Future hulls under construction feature a helipad, open mast
arrangement and open air top decks.
All of our yachts are built to ABS Maltese Cross AMS classification, and
will be MCA compliant.
